NRHA uses official social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms, to share information of public interest with residents, businesses, partners, and the broader community.
These channels are intended to support communication about NRHA programs, services, initiatives, and events.
Limited Public Forum and Moderation
NRHA social media accounts function as limited public forums. Content is subject to moderation and may be preserved and disclosed in accordance with applicable laws.
NRHA welcomes comments, questions, and feedback. However, all content must comply with this policy.
NRHA reserves the right to hide, delete, or restrict comments or users that violate the following standards.
Prohibited Content
Comments or posts from third parties may be removed if they contain:
- Threats or language that incites violence
- Hate speech or content targeting groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
- Profanity, vulgarity, or obscene content
- Nudity or graphic imagery
- Defamation or false statements
- Promotion of political campaigns or candidates
- Commercial promotions, spam, or links to unrelated sites
- Advocacy of illegal activity
- Copyright or trademark violations
- Content that is clearly off-topic or irrelevant to NRHA programs and services
Repeated violations may result in the user being blocked from NRHA social media channels.
Engagement and Response
NRHA monitors its social media accounts and may respond to comments and messages; however, these platforms are not intended for:
- Submitting formal requests or applications
- Reporting emergencies or urgent issues
For official inquiries, users should contact NRHA directly through its website or main office.
Privacy
Social media platforms are public spaces.
Do not post personal or sensitive information, including:
- Social Security numbers
- Financial or account information
- Personal contact details
NRHA does not collect or store personal information from social media interactions except as necessary to respond to a specific inquiry, and any use of such information will follow NRHA’s privacy practices.

NRHA social media pages may include links to third-party websites or content.
NRHA:

- Is not responsible for their accuracy or privacy practices
- Does not endorse external organizations or viewpoints

Comments made by users on NRHA social media platforms do not reflect the views or positions of NRHA, its board, leadership, or employees.
NRHA reserves the right to restrict or remove access for users who repeatedly violate this policy.
