HQS Inspection
The NRHA HQS Inspection Department must inspect and approve all units prior to the signing of any proposed lease. Inspections are also done annually for HCV program participants.
Inspections include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operation of smoke alarms
- Functionality of electrical outlets and electricity
- Functionality of plumbing, heating and air
- Condition of windows, walls and doors
- Functionality of appliances
- Security of locks and entrances and exits
- Absence of lead-based paint hazards
- Absence of mold and mildew
