State of the Youth – Teens with a Purpose

Join youth from across Hampton Roads for an important Teens with a Purpose gathering where your voice matters. Together, we’ll speak out about the challenges facing our generation — from issues in our country and communities to what’s happening in our homes and daily lives. In just a few years, many of us will be voters, helping shape the future of our region and our nation. This is our time to be heard.
Schools, community leaders, youth organizations, and government officials will be in the room — ready to listen.
Through powerful performances — song, poetry, dance, oratory and spoken word — we’ll share our stories, express our concerns, and offer real solutions for change.
