NRHA Application Portal On Yardi RentCafé
If you have a RentCafé Account, please click here to login and apply for an open waitlist.

Select the button that says “Click Here for Applicant Account Registration.”

Start the process to create an account using your email address and select which option applies to you.

If you are not a current Resident of NRHA, click on “I want to apply to a property.”

If you HAVE a registration code, click the option and input your code to create your RentCafé Account. If you do not have a registration code, click on the NOT option to fill out the account creation form.

Click on “I live at a property” if you are a current NRHA resident. Input your registration code to create your RentCafé account.

Complete the personal detail and account information sections to create your account. After this you are able to login under Applicant Login using one of the three passwordless options (Email, Gmail or Apple).

Log in and select an open waitlist.

Complete and submit your application.
HCV, PBV, and Public Housing Waitlists
Applications for the HCV, PBV, and public housing waitlists are available online only through the Yardi RentCafé Applicant Portal during designated times when the waitlist is open, with a valid account.
How To Update Application Information
All applicants added to the waiting list are responsible for maintaining a current address with NRHA. If there is a change of address, phone number, income or family size, applicants must make these updates via the Yardi Rent Cafe | Applicant Portal. Click on the house icon in the top left corner of the browser window. Log into the system with your login credentials and follow the instructions. Outdated information may result in your application being withdrawn from the waitlist.

Important Things to Know
- If no waitlists are open, you will not be able to apply.
- Creating an account does not place you on a waitlist by itself.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee housing.
- Applications submitted outside an open waitlist period are not accepted.
- If NRHA determines an applicant eligible, they are placed on the waiting list. If ineligible, NRHA will notify the applicant of the ineligibility and offer an opportunity to request an informal hearing.
