NRHA is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. The month recognizes the histories, cultures and contributions of people with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. At NRHA, we are proud to celebrate the Hispanic and Latino families who are part of our community. Their traditions, achievements and leadership continue to strengthen our neighborhoods and shape the future of Norfolk. National Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor these lasting contributions and to recognize the important role Hispanic and Latino communities play in creating opportunity and building stronger cities across the nation.
