Each year, NRHA requests funding from the City of Norfolk to support its neighborhood development activities. Funding is provided by the City through the Capital Improvement Program for Neighborhoods and the General Fund. Funding is also received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development which funds the Community Development Block Grant and the HOME Investment Partnership Program. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear the views of the citizens of Norfolk prior to the application finalization and submission.
